Watermelon is pretty good (maybe slightly overrated) but who the hell wants it rolling around your fridge all willy-nilly? I'll tell you who really didn't want their watermelons acting a fool, the Japanese. The same Japanese who brought you Iron Chef and henti wanted a way to fit watermelons in a fridge while taking up less space and not rolling. So you're probably saying to yourself, why is this on Who Buys This Stuff? Because apparently they go for about 75 bucks over there. Now, I wouldn't say I'm overly frugal but I am willing to take the time to cut up my watermelon (the reason they are overrated) if I can save over 70 dollars. For now I might try buying Grow Your Own Square Watermelon by Maurice Chin. The name sounds legit and hell, maybe I will start selling square watermelons in the states for $50 and undercutting those Japanese sons of bitches.
